How to Burn off that Chocolate Easter Bunny
Happy Easter, my friends! I hope you are having a wonderfully blessed day with family and friends.
My darling husband and I got dyed like Easter eggs yesterday at the Color Me Rad 5k in Virginia Beach. It was cold and raining, but we had a great time, regardless.
Easter is a wonderful day, and we have spent it celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, and eating some yummy yummy food with our family. I hope you, too, are celebrating this day, perhaps eating eggs prepared your favorite way (mine is Eggs Florentine).
While the day is a celebration, it’s important to take care of our bodies, and while I can’t support you eating an entire Chocolate Easter Bunny, if you must, here are some ways to burn those calories off.
Ways to burn ~250 calories (1 hollow chocolate Easter bunny):
1. Run for 20 minutes (6 mph)
2. Swim for 25 minutes
3. 25 minutes of mountain biking
4. Playing with your kids for 45-60 minutes (depending on how active the games are)
5. 40 minutes of yardwork
6. 30-45 minutes of Just Dance (your kids will think you rock!)
