Fab Find Friday: This Bike Trailer
Hey Mamas (and Papas),
How’s your week going? If you’re in the Hampton Roads area, I bet you’ve been l-o-v-i-n-g this weather. Highs in the upper 70’s, at the end of August? Yes, thank you!
It’s been a great few days to get outside with the family, which is exactly what we’ve been doing here. On Sunday, we dusted off the bikes (and trailer) and took the little one out for a bike ride.
The best thing I’ve gotten for our family outings this year is the Burley Bee trailer so we can take our little bean out with us on bike rides.
She loves getting to join in, and I love that she’s snug and safe in an enclosed trailer, instead of perched on the handlebars or behind my seat.
It’s one of the lightest bike trailers in it’s class, and that helps, especially after mile 10. The trailer is great for longer rides because she can lounge, and the puppy even rides with her on occasion.
I love that there’s room in the “trunk” for groceries, beach toys, a diaper bag, or whatever. it’s really become such fun to go for a ride together.
The only hard part is deciding who is going to tow the trailer. Rock-paper-scissors to the rescue!
p.s. I’ve learned that Amazon will give a *small* portion of sales generated from my referrals (by clicking on the link above to the product) back to this CrazyFitMama. I shop Amazon.com all-the-time, and have never had anything but great service from them. All the recommendations are ones I’d make anyway, I promise you that. They don’t even recommend things for me to share with you, it’s just that they sell e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g! (well, almost everything. Why don’t you sell more Nike gear, Amazon?) It doesn’t affect your purchase price, but it does help me buy new workout gear? Cool? Cool!
