Happy New Year: The 5 F’s of Resolutions
Happy New Year, friends!
I hope your holiday season was both merry and bright. With the new year upon us, I bet I’m not the only one making resolutions.
If we’ve ever met, you know that I am in about 43 different thoughts at any given time, so to try and put my intentions for a meaningful and successful year into a short list is difficult at best.
I’ve found a way to cover all my bases, and make sure that I’m not loading all my focus in one area, or in an unimportant area (to me). If you’d like to do the same, I challenge you to create your goals around the 5 F’s. Before you make up your own “F”, let me fill you in. 😉
Faith (Whatever restores your soul and lets your heart find peace.)
Family (How can you be the best wife, mother, daughter, niece, friend possible?)
Fitness (Taking care of you will help immeasurably with you ability to take care of others.)
Finance (This could be a career goal, a budgeting one, or even a yard sale!)
Fun (Please don’t forget this one. What’s the point in making goals for a new year if your new year isn’t any fun?)
1. Be an intentional child of God, wife, and mother (loving my God, my darling husband, and The Babe are of utmost importance)
2. Maintain my healthy eating and workout habits through an overseas move! (WHAT?!?!?! I know. I’m moving again, this time to Hawaii. Please don’t hate me. 😉
3. Build a stronger support base and online resource hub for healthy living as a Crazy Fit Mama.
4. Run, run, run!
– 1,000 miles this year
– 1 FULL marathon (in November)
Am I nuts? Yes. It’s no accident that this blog is called Crazy Fit Mama. Some days more crazy than others, but I haven’t seen sanity in a long time. That’s what makes things interesting.
So… these resolutions are great! I’m covering the important bases for me, and in the important order. Faith, Family (I’ve got a 2-for-1 in #1), Fitness, Financial, & Fun.
What are your goals for 2016?
